Strain Description
1.  This strain is generated via CRISPR/Cas9 technology. The Ace2em1(HiBiT,-ACE2) was designed with Exon 4 of mouse Ace2 gene was replaced by a HiBit lucifercase and IRES followed by chimeric Ace2 gene. Chimeric Ace2 gene is composed of mouse Ace2 cDNA including N-terminal signal peptide, intracellular domain, transmembrane domain, and human ACE2 cDNA for extracellular domain.
2.  After Covid19 infection, mutants had mild pneumonia symptom in lung. Virus could be detected in lung tissues via PCR.
