Strain Description
1.  Top priority novel gene in IMPC list and has potential affected in Cardiovascular, Immunology and Inflammation, and Neurobiology Research.
2.  The targeting construct was electroporated into C57BL/6N embryonic stem (ES) cells.
3.  LacZreporter and a frt-flanked neomycin resistant gene were inserted into intron 6, and exons from ENSMUSE00000608094 to ENSMUSE00000608093 areloxP-flanked.
4.  Neonates died in 2 weeks after birth in homozygotes and the body size of homozygotes is smaller than heterozygotes and wild types.
5.  The information shown on MGI is as follows: Homozygotes for a targeted null mutation exhibit holoprosencephaly, anophthalmia, kidney defects and perinatal lethality. Mice homozygous for a hypomorphic allele exhibit altered shoulder girdle and facial musculature, retinal defects, abnormal inner earpatterning and kidney defects
