Species laboratory mouse
Strain Type COI (coisogenic strain),MSR (mutant strain)
Mutant Type TG (Transgenic)
Other Names
Background Strain FVB/N
Strain Description
1.
The construct carried transgene was injected into fertilized embryos harvested from FVB/N
 mice.
2.  This strain overexpressed Human HSPD1 driven by human phosphoglycerate kinase promoter.
3.
There was no significant  difference in body weight and serum biochemistry profiles between
 this strain and wild type.
4.
Articular condrocytes and synovial cells strongly expressed HSPD1. Articular condrocytes density and proliferating activity were significantly increased.
5.  Articular cartilage in the media tibia plateau is thicker in this strain.
