Strain Description
1.  The targeting construct was electroporated into R1 (129 background) embryonic stem (ES) cells. 
2.  The C57BL/6 strain was produced by backcrossing theScube1tm3Rbya mutation at least five times to C57BL/6 inbred mice.
3.  Exon 2 to Exon 18 of Scube1 gene have been removed.
4.  It seems like no difference between heterozygote and wild type.


***Specific Term of Use for Distribution, 
1.  Dr. Yang and Dr. Liao need to be on the co-authorship in the first paper derived from the use of this mutant strain.
2.  Only use this B6.129-Scube1tm3Rbya/Narlmutant strain for the              research. Please specify in approval form from the Depositor, Dr. Yang.
