Strain Description ：
1.  The exons of Lnc2 were replaced with LacZ and Neomycin resistance gene by homologous recombination.
2.  The kidney of this strain presents phenotypically similar to wild-type kidney.
3.  Lcn2was expressed in the tissues of lung and spleen in wild type but absent in this mutant strain.
4.  This strain had no effect on phenotypes, cystic progression, or survival of the PKD (polycystic kidney disease) mice.
