Strain Description
1.  The targeting vector was contained a floxed cassette containing both Neo and TK selection marker in intron 2 and the thirdloxP site in intron 4 of the Tpt1 gene. This targeting vector was electroporated into R1 embryonic stem cells. Two positive clones harboring targeted allele, 248 and 280, were further microjnjected into C57BL/6 blastocysts to generated chimeric mice. The mice were backcrossed with C57BL/6 more than 10 generations and maintained in C57BL/6 background.
