NLAC focuses on providing services to support "translational medicine" and "drug evaluation". NLAC's new headquarters, completed in the National Biotechnology Research Park, will expedite the translation process from basic research breakthroughs to in vivo and clinical trials. The Center started its relocation process in 2018 and has carried out various system verifications and hardware construction of the laboratories before the staff were stationed. The pre-relocation preparations were commenced in November, 2018, and the new building was officially opened on January 17, 2019.
